12 year old [1998] Moriesian Mare
Coat is Black and she stands 15 hands
Sumi is an inquisitive mare. She is mystified by the smallest things and often gets herself into trouble trying to figure things out. She masters every lock we try to put on her door and those gates just seem to magically open when she is left out unsupervised for too long. She has also had unfortunate experiences with fallen limbs and equipment left in her pasture, plus a bad case of colic when she decided to go investigate every bag of feed in the grain room. Needless to say the first time we put Sumi in front of a cart was a little nerve-racking, but since then she has learned to drive beautifully. She has also become a beautifully high-stepping saddleseat horse and loves to show off in front of the judges.
